A warm welcome to our newest team members!

Please join me in welcoming Nancy (Nancy in Iowa), Audrey (Hippieaud (aka Audrey)) and Leesa (~♥~The Navy Wife~♥~) who have all agreed to join the Feline Playful family and help us out on posts! I expect many of you are already familiar with these ladies through their frequent appearances on the Winners' Lists as well as through their wonderful entries into so many challenges. Their names have been added to our sidebar along with a link to their personal blogs - I encourage you to visit their blogs and say "Hi".

Nancy will be providing some much needed vacation coverage so that our regular daily posters can have a day off every now and then. Audrey will be taking over the Friday and Saturday winners' posts starting in April. And Leesa will be looking up all of those "not posted yet" challenges & winners so that the lists are complete as well as helping with the Blog Hops and Blog Candy pages.

Welcome, welcome, welcome!

Helping Out ...

Feline Playful Challenge Team Member Call:
Just a quick post to mention that we are currently looking for a couple of new team members here at Feline Playful. If you would like to help out, check out the DT Calls page for all the details.

Random Acts of Kindness:
And on the subject of helping out, crafters have got to be the most caring and generous group anywhere! Whether it is sending cards to a sick child, raising money for disaster relief, or providing much-needed encouragement to our troops, there are just so many wonderful causes that crafters are a part of. What's even better, in my humble opinion, is that we can support these causes by doing what we love - making cards and buying crafting supplies.

As a way to further help these causes we've added a new page to Feline Playful called "R.A.K." (for Random Acts of Kindness). Please take a few minutes to check out these wonderful causes! And if you are involved in a fundraising activity or card drive that you would like added, then let us know so we can add you.

And on a final note:
Thank you to all of our wonderful Feline Followers for your continued support of the team. Your comments and emails mean so much to our entire team! Thank you for being part of the Feline family!!!

Adding new challenges

First, I want to thank all of our Feline Followers for your continued support of Feline Playful. It is so great reading your positive comments about the blog and we're just thrilled to see the number of followers continue to rise. Hearing that you found a great new challenge or that you found out you were a winner because of our lists can be so motivating to the team!

Did you know that we are currently tracking over 360 challenge blogs? And that number is increasing weekly as we hear about other challenges. If you own a challenge blog or are part of a design team and want your challenge added, all we ask is that you answer the following questions so that we have all the necessary details for the listing:
  1. What is the name of your challenge?
  2. What is your website address?
  3. Is your challenge weekly, bi-weekly or monthly?
  4. What is the posting day of your challenge?
  5. What kind of projects (cards, scrapbook layouts, altered items, ATC, etc) does your challenge allow?
  6. Does your challenge select winners? If so, how many and what is the reward (blog badge, prize, etc).
  7. How do you choose the winner?
  8. What is the maximum number of entries per challenge?
  9. Can the players combine their entry with other challenges? If so do you have a maximum number?
  10. Does your challenge have any special conditions or restrictions (such as using a product/image from a specific company)?
  11. If you set your challenge schedule in advance, would you care to provide us with the schedule? We promise that no challenges will be posted in advance of their regular posting date.
You can email the info to shelleyr@telus.net and we'll get your challenge onto our lists as soon as we can.

Thanks again and keep up the crafting!

Feline smiley,
Shelley
