Feline helpful? Volunteers needed! -- UPDATE

UPDATE:  Thank you to all of you who have emailed offering to help out! The Feline Family truly rocks! I am working with the team on the schedule and will be contacting the new volunteers starting tomorrow to invite them to help as needed. I really want to thank each & every one of you! Feline Playful only exists because of the generousity and commitment of the Feline Playful team and Followers. Thanks!

I'm very sad to report that Jenni has decided to leave the Feline Playful team. Jenni has been a wonderful support, taking care of Winners posts on three days each week. We've really appreciated her commitment and reliability but alas, real life must always take priority and Jenni has decided that the time has come for her to step down. At the same time a couple of other team members are looking to adjust their schedules a bit.

What does this mean to you?

Well, it means that this is your opportunity to join the Feline Playful update team! We are looking for 2-3 people to join us. Responsibilities would include updating at least one post (winners or challenges) each week. Experience with Blogger is helpful but not necessary. The time commitment, depending on how fast your computer is, varies from 1-3 hrs for each post. And your reward? Well, the endless thanks of our Feline Followers plus having a link to your blog posted on our sidebar.

Thank you's and some changes

First off, I want to send out a great big "thank you" to the Feline Playful team. Abi, Audrey, Erum, Gemma, Jenni, Juliet, Leesa, Linda and Nancy you are the absolute greatest and this site would not exist without you! Your hard work and dedication to keeping these pages updated is amazing and truly appreciated.

Second, I want to thank all our Feline Followers who take the time to visit the site each day, and especially those of you who leave comments and send emails. Your positive words are so inspiring to the team.

And finally, I wanted to let everyone know about a couple of changes coming soon to the Feline Playful site. After reviewing the stats for the Blog Hop and Scrapbook pages, I've decided to remove both pages effective August 1. These 2 pages just aren't getting enough visits to justify the time it takes to keep them updated. And blog hops are so time-sensitive that we just aren't able to post hops quickly enough to make them relevant. The scrapbook challenges are being added to the regular daily challenge postings so please keep looking for them. And for blog hops, I encourage you to post information about your blog hops as comments under any daily post.

Well, that's it for now although I expect to be posting again soon asking for some volunteers to help with the daily posts. Thanks and keep crafting!

In the spotlight and a reminder or two

Just a quick post to let you all know that Feline Playful (and little ol' me) is in the spotlight today over at ABC Christmas Challenge. Go by and check it out!
